Shafaqna Pakistan: Four people have been killed and 16 others injured in rain-related incidents caused by strong winds and heavy rainfall in Bannu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to an initial report issued by the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), severe winds and heavy rain triggered multiple incidents of wall collapses, house damage, and shop destruction in different parts of the district.
The deceased include two men and two children, while the injured comprise four men, five women, and seven children.
The PDMA has urged residents to take precautionary measures during adverse weather, avoid staying in weak or dilapidated structures, and contact local authorities in case of emergencies. The public has also been advised to report incidents through the PDMA helpline 1700.
