Shafaqna Pakistan: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar met the foreign ministers of Türkiye, Egypt and Saudi Arabia in Cairo on Saturday.
Dar thanked Egyptian Foreign Minister Dr Badr Abdelatty for hosting him in Cairo along the banks of the Nile River.
He said he had a productive and pleasant meeting with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan, expressing appreciation for their friendship, warm hospitality and constructive discussions.
Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar arrived in Cairo to participate in the Regional Foreign Ministers’ Meeting, which is scheduled to take place on Sunday.
Upon arrival, he was received by Assistant Foreign Minister for Policy Planning, Research, Crisis Management and Assessments Nazih El Naggary, and Pakistan’s Ambassador to Egypt, Ambassador Aamir Shouket.
Ishaq Dar will also hold bilateral meetings with his counterparts on the sidelines.
According to the Foreign Office, Dar will represent Pakistan at the fourth meeting of the R-4 Group foreign ministers, where participants are expected to exchange views on matters of mutual interest, regional security and global developments.
