Shafaqna Pakistan:- Israeli forces demolished the Yanon Mixed Basic School in the hamlet of Khirbet Yanon in the northern occupied West Bank on Thursday, according to the Palestinian news agency Wafa.
Khirbet Yanon has long been subjected to repeated efforts by Israeli authorities to displace its Palestinian residents. By December 28, 2025, only one family remained in the hamlet after most residents had fled and the government-run school had shut down.
According to Wafa, the community had been home to 16 Palestinian families for nearly two decades before repeated attacks and restrictions on movement, farming and daily life forced the majority to leave in search of safety. The report did not specify where the displaced families had relocated.
