Iran Abandoned Planned Attacks on Ukraine Following Kyiv Apology, Says Mohsen Rezaei

Shafaqna Pakistan: Mohsen Rezaei, a former senior military adviser to Iran’s Supreme Leader, has claimed that Iran’s armed forces had completed preparations to carry out attacks on three locations in Ukraine but ultimately decided not to proceed with the operation.

According to Turkey’s Anadolu Agency, Rezaei made the remarks during an interview with Iranian state television, saying that all military preparations had been finalised before the planned strikes were called off.

Rezaei alleged that Iran abandoned the operation after receiving what he described as an apology from Ukraine. However, he did not disclose the nature of the alleged apology, when it was made, or who conveyed it.
