Shafaqna Pakistan: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, during which the two sides discussed bilateral ties and regional developments.
FM Jarrah congratulated Dar on the recent signing of the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye. The two foreign ministers also exchanged views on the regional situation, including developments concerning occupied East Jerusalem.
They reviewed Pakistan-Kuwait relations and matters of mutual interest, including follow-up to Jarrah’s recent visit to Pakistan and efforts to expand cooperation and investment in key sectors.
The two sides agreed to maintain close coordination and remain engaged on issues of mutual concern.
