Shafaqna Pakistan: Banks and financial institutions across Pakistan will remain closed for three consecutive days from August 14 to August 16, according to a circular issued by the State Bank of Pakistan.
The State Bank, banks and the stock exchange will remain closed on Friday, August 14, in observance of Independence Day. Saturday and Sunday will follow as the institutions’ regular weekly holidays.
The State Bank said ATMs and online banking services of banks and financial institutions would continue to operate during the three-day closure.
