Imran Khan has once again accused of PPP and PML-N for political hobnobbing against PTI in Mirpur by-election. PML-N withdrew its candidate in favor of PPP and PTI failed to clinch the seat between two powerful rivals. PPP and PML-N move has made it clear that status quo parties do not want a true democratic change in Pakistan. Both PPP and PML-N are committed to block the ways of PTI because they are well aware that they day PTI came into power that will be the last day of their dynastic politics. PPP has already facing decline and has been divided into three groups while it has reduced to Sindh only, same will happen to PML-N and they will hardly find few places in Punjab to win few seats. It is not because that PTI is an ideal party but it is just because of old bad ways of PPP and PML-N because both have failed to deliver.
The PTI seems to be turning its momentum the wrong way. That it has popular support, and that its rank and file is committed to fighting the ‘status quo’, can no longer be doubted. But where it takes its energy is open to question. So far, Khan sb has taken to politics of confrontation and ignored the institution’s productive potential. This does not augur well for his party. PTI should avoid the politics of confrontation and focus on the development and delivering to the masses, this is the only way PTI can sustain it in masses.
