Shafaqna Pakistan: Israel has renewed its warning that it could launch fresh strikes on Iran if Tehran resumes efforts to develop nuclear weapons or ballistic missiles, Arab media reported.
Israeli Energy Minister Eli Cohen said in an interview with Israeli media that Israel would not hesitate to attack Iran again if it restarted its nuclear activities or pursued the development of ballistic missiles.
Cohen cautioned that any move by Tehran to revive its nuclear programme could prompt another Israeli military operation. He also claimed that Iran would have succeeded in acquiring nuclear weapons had Israel not carried out its earlier strikes.
He said the attacks by the United States and Israel had set Iran’s nuclear programme back by two to four years.
The remarks come after the United States and Israel launched attacks on Iran on February 28, 2026.
The strikes killed Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, along with several senior Iranian generals.
