Shafaqna Pakistan: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced revised liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) prices for September 2026, with the fuel becoming Rs4.33 per kilogram more expensive.
According to an OGRA notification, the revised rates will remain applicable throughout September. The increase has raised the price of an 11.8kg LPG cylinder by Rs51.17, taking its official price to Rs3,052.
The latest rate is higher than the Rs3,000 price set for the same-sized cylinder in August. Based on the rounded figures, consumers will therefore pay around Rs52 more for an 11.8kg cylinder this month.
OGRA’s latest notification sets the revised rate specifically for September 2026, with the per-kilogram price increasing by Rs4.33. The adjustment will apply throughout the month under the regulator’s notified pricing mechanism.
The change comes as households and businesses using LPG prepare for the new monthly rates. The 11.8kg cylinder remains one of the most widely used LPG quantities for domestic consumption, particularly among consumers relying on the fuel for cooking and other household needs.
