Shafaqna Pakistan: Pakistan’s Ambassador to Afghanistan, Ubaid-ur-Rehman Nizamani, met Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Thursday to discuss regional developments and issues of importance to Pakistan.
The meeting focused on the evolving security situation in the region and its potential implications for Pakistan.
Ishaq Dar stressed the need to closely monitor regional developments, particularly those affecting peace and security.
Earlier, the Deputy Prime Minister also had a telephonic conversation with the newly-elected OIC Secretary General and congratulated him on his election as OIC Secretary General.
The two leaders agreed to meet soon and maintain regular communication, and to work together to further strengthen the role of the OIC.
