Shafaqna Pakistan: Iraqi President Nizar Amidi said the Baghdad International Book Fair reflects the capital’s rich cultural and civilisational heritage.
Amidi visited the 27th Baghdad International Book Fair, touring its exhibition pavilions alongside Minister of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities Sarwa Abdul Wahid. He reviewed the latest publications from Iraqi, Arab and international publishers, covering a wide range of intellectual and academic fields.
According to a statement from the Media Office of the Presidency of the Republic, the president also reviewed the books and works showcased by participating publishing houses.
