Shafaqna Pakistan: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has said the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) remains united on the issue of new provinces, dismissing reports of differences within the party.
Speaking to the media in London before departing for Pakistan, Maryam said several attempts had been made in the past to create divisions within the PML-N but had failed.
“There are no differences in the PML-N on the issue of provinces. The party is on one page,” she said.
Maryam was in London to attend her daughter’s graduation ceremony. Following the event, she left her residence to return to Pakistan.
During her interaction with the media, the Punjab chief minister also clarified the PML-N’s position on internal party matters and the issue of provinces.
