Shafaqna Pakistan: Senior White House advisers have warned President Donald Trump that the war with Iran could continue for the remainder of his term, The Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday.
Citing US officials, the newspaper reported that senior figures, including Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, had privately told Trump that Tehran could continue resisting US pressure, potentially prolonging the conflict beyond Inauguration Day in January 2029.
Speaking to reporters at Joint Base Andrews on Wednesday, Trump said he was not actively seeking a deal with Iran, although he acknowledged that negotiations remained possible.
