Minab children’s artwork takes centre stage at UN in Geneva

Shafaqna Pakistan: An exhibition titled “Children of Minab Still Draw the Sun”, featuring paintings by children from Minab, was opened by Iran’s Permanent Mission in Geneva at the United Nations headquarters on Tuesday.

The week-long exhibition showcases the experiences of Iranian children affected by what the organisers described as US and Israeli aggression against Iran, portraying how missile strikes disrupted their everyday lives.

Most of the artworks were created by students of Shajareh Tayyebeh Primary School in Minab, where children were reportedly killed or injured during US attacks.

Some of the paintings were recovered from the school’s rubble and are now being displayed before an international audience at the UN headquarters in Geneva.
