The banned terror outfit, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) on Thursday criticised young education activist Malala Yousufzai, saying she had been awarded the Noble Peace Prize for promoting western culture and not education.
According to a statement by Mohammad Khurasani, spokesman for Mullah Fazlullah-led faction of TTP, said Malala’s father Ziauddin set his daughter against the religion and Islamic society after which resources were abundantly spent on promoting the teenager.
