No it is not Sunni-Shiite conflict; it is false perception that in Yemen Sunni and Shiite is against each other. It is very clear that it not a sectarian clash. Had it been a sectarian clash, various Sunni segments of Yemen, would not have been backed the Shiite Houthis,
And that Iran’s interfering role remains driven more by an expansion of influence rather than any overt notion of Shiite solidarity. It’s a power game. It’s a game of making allies; it’s a game of increasing power gambit. It is game of encircling opponents. Saudia has nothing to do with Sunnis, Saudia is just afraid of Iranian influence. Labeling it a clash between two Muslims sects is a conspiracy to divide the Muslim Ummah on sectarian grounds. In 56 Islamic countries, Sunni and Shiite population living mix for hundreds of year with peace and harmony, It is just an attempt to divide those populations that believe that Muslim is a brother of Muslim. It is proxy war of two countries, it is not a war of Sunni-Shiite Muslims.
