Middle East conundrum will certainly take years because it is going down from one war to another. Syria war is yet not over, Iraq has been burning and now Saudia and Iran has opened another front. The invitation of Saudis to join this war is a dangerous trend. Any Pakistani involvement in the latest round of Middle Eastern warfare would be a colossal mistake. On one hand Saudia is weakening Pakistan by its ideological influence on Madrassas and enormous funding to them. These Madrassas are ultimately fanning Islamic militancy in the country and stocking the war of sectarianism. In recent reports it has been made clear that more than 30% Madrassas have been funded by our Arabian friends and even Saudi monarchs were furious over these reports. While on the other hand Saudia wants Pakistan to become part of its expedition in Yemen that would isolate Pakistan in the region and sour ties with neighboring countries. It shows that Saudi government is worst foe of Pakistan in the cloak of friendship. Pakistan should be bewaring of their nefarious designs.
