President of Pakistan’s visit to Azerbaijan is an appreciative step for fostering beneficial regional ties. The President inaugurated Pakistan-Azerbaijan Business Forum which aims at not only exploring the business potential and economic links but will also have a positive impact on future prospect of bilateral ties. Pakistan’s President stressed on the need to make efforts to benefit from each other’s specialized expertise in various fields which are mutually advantageous. The fields of pharmacy, surgery, sports, defence equipment, garments and food items hold the prospect of increased cooperation and bilateral ties. It is hoped that the government will keep up the good work of exploring potentially beneficial relations in the international sphere. But at the same time when President and Prime Minister of Pakistan has shown an utmost urge of bilateral trade with different countries during the visit, they first have to ensure a security for the world’s businessmen. No doubt Pakistan has vast business opportunities yet Businessmen are afraid of investing in Pakistan due to fear of worst terrorism. Until Government ensures fool proof security measures for business community and provide a conducive environment for business no country would invest in Pakistan. Even most of the Pakistani businessmen has shifted their business to other countries due to terrorist activities and insecurity. Thus for all this the primary step is getting rid of terrorism as soon as possible to strengthen economy.
