Daesh is wreaking havoc in Yemen and specifically on Shiite Houthis. Daesh’s destructive approach has left Yemen in tatters. It is a deadly phenomenon that has to be tackled instantly without wasting any more time. The coalition forces and the regional governments have to recast their anti-terror strategies, and closely look at the infiltration avenues and the cahoots in the society that come to aid Daesh to further their nefarious designs. The attack in Tunis, a relatively settled Arab state, which killed more than 25 people, points out at the expansionist agenda of Daesh. In the case of Yemen, where the Daesh bombed two mosques belonging to the minority Zaidi Muslims, could not have come without the explicit support of Al Qaeda, which already has roots in the most volatile country in the region. Thus this nexus has to be cracked, and Daesh exterminated as soon as possible.
The recent of wave bombing in Sanaa that killed more than 150 worshippers shows that how deadly the Daesh is. Daesh is getting stronger day by day and it shows the weakness of Western coalition to destroy Daesh. It seems that West has given a free hand to Daesh to run amok and crush the Muslim countries leading them to the brink of destruction.
The Arab states and the West should unite to not only defeat Daesh in Yemen but also to ensure that it is no more on the move. Sanaa and Tunisia bombings have pitched the anti-terrorism coalition to make some hard choices. If Daesh is not stopped at this point it would turn to West soon because a snake never hesitates to bit his master even.
