It is an open secret now that Daish was founded by the CIA and Mossad. Number of senior CIA officials have confessed to give rise this monster. However US President Obama shocked more than just the Republicans by (finally) blaming the rise of Da’ish, or ISIS, on his predecessor’s ill-advised and ill-fated invasion of Iraq. It seems that President Obama is trying to clarify his position not only about Iraq and Syria but also about Iran and Saudi Rivalry and Israel’s enmity towards Iran, especially after controversial address of the Netanyahu with US congress. This is first time that White House , Iran and Syria are one same wavelength on the issue of Daesh. It was not too long ago that Obama was prepared to bomb the Assad regime – for charges of using chemical weapons that later turned out false. He actively promoted the rebel Free Syrian Army (FSA) as well as the parallel government based in Ankara. And he also turned a blind eye to the Saudis funding and arming extremist groups that reportedly included jabhat al nusra, al Qaeda’s offshoot in Syria. It seems that it is new awakening of White House as it has realized the role of Ryadh and spreading terrorism in Syria and also trying to disrupt talks between both the countries akin to its so called rival Israel. This was also around the time when the White House began taking the Iran negotiations more seriously. Fast forward one year and there is unprecedented convergence between Iran and the US. John Kerry has even talked about talking to Assad which, again, plays right into Tehran’s hands. It is time for White House and Obama to adopt a rational approach regarding Iran and Assad, for if the talks with Iran fail it would just give rise another animosity between both the countries while on the other hand Assad is going nowhere and after the dust settled he is definitely going to Join Russian block that would be a great blowback for US.
