A loud blast targeting a Rangers mobile near Qalandria Chowk, in Block J of North Nazimabad area, killed two paramilitary officials and injured another on Friday evening.
According to DawnNews, initially three Rangers personnel were injured in the blast of which two succumbed to their wounds on their way to the hospital. The injured official has been shifted to a hospital.
The intensity of the blast has not been confirmed as yet, but the explosion was so loud that it was heard in far-reaching areas of North Nazimabad, reported DawnNews.
Police authorities have however confirmed that a Rangers mobile was the target of the blast.
Earlier today, two people were killed in an explosion that took place after Friday prayers outside the Saleh Mosque for Bohra community worshippers, close to Pakistan Chowk.
