Head of Iranian parliamentary delegation Jamal Nobandegani called for promotion of economic and trade ties between Tehran and Islamabad.
He pointed to vast economic capacity between the two countries and said that current economic exchanges are not adequate.
Nobandegani also pointed to gas pipeline between Iran and Pakistan and reminded that the Iranian side has already been completed and asked for acceleration in completion of the Pakistani side.
Senator Mohsen Aziz, for his part, pointed to old and friendly relations between the two countries and praised Iran’s supports for Pakistan against different security and economic threats.
He also praised Iran’s stances in support of Muslims in the world and called for taking common stances in support of Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar.
Iranian parliamentary delegation also met with Indonesia House of Representatives Speaker Setya Novanto and Vice-Speaker Fadli Zon separately on Wednesday.
They also met with Bolivian House of Representatives Deputy Speaker Romina Guadalupe and discussed issues of mutual interests.
