Director General Intelligence Bureau (DG IB) Aftab Sultan has denied Imran Khan’s allegations that money was provided to journalists, lawyers and a particular media group.
Imran Khan had accused the IB of giving journalists, lawyers and a media group billions at the behest of the government.
Mr Sultan in a statement said Imran Khan’s accusations were not based on facts and the government had not issued any such directives to the IB.
Aftab Sultan added the IB was a respectable institution of the country and would not take part in any unlawful act.
