Amid political turmoil in Pakistan, social networking websites are abuzz with different trends, arguments and debates in support or opposition of the political parties including the ruling Pakistan Muslims League Nawaz (PML-N), opposition party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) led by cricketer-turned politician Imran Khan and Canada-based cleric Dr Tahirul Qadri’s Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT).
PTI and PAT have staged a sit-in outside the Parliament House in a bid to depose Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif over alleged rigging in last year’s general election.
