Pakistan political temperature has reached to the boiling point. Different political and international analyst are predicting different emerging scenarios. Some are of the view that political players may agree to a national government while some are of the opinion that Mid term poll could be an option. Similar some analysts predict no change.
Shafaqna conducted a special survey to know public perception aftermath to this long March.
Here are few questions and their response by public.
Shafaqna: Are you going to participate in long march if yes than Why and if not what is the reason?
Answer: 60 percent people responded positively to join long march for they think that Government has failed to address there issues specially the issue of power shortage and they want regime change while 40 people said this long march poses threat to democracy and those conducting long march want to destabilize country therefore they are not willing to attend this long March.
Shafaqna: Do you think this long march would help to resolve there issues?
Majority of the people were of the view that this long march would create pressure on the government and they would focus on the issues of the people rather than back tracking their promises while some people were of the opinion that his long march would further deteriorate the situation of the country.
Shafaqna: Do you think Imran Khan can better lead this nation than Nawaz Sharif?
Most people were of the view that since one year they do not see any improvement in the situation of the country and PML-N could not fulfil their promises therefore they do not have any ethical reason to lead this country and Imran Khan should be given a chance while others opined that since PTI could not bring any positive change in the KPK therefore he may not change the fate of the country.
Shafaqna: Do you favor a National Government?
Large number of people were of the opinion that national government would be just a mess therefore national Government should not be made.
Shafaqna: Do you support army take over?
90% opposed Military coup and said that democracy should continue while 10% were of the opinion that democracy has failed to deliver therefore army takeover can survive the country.
