Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin in his speech to Congress last week may have influenced world powers seeking to sign a political framework deal with Iran. He advised to refrain from rushing into an agreement on Iran’s nuclear programme at any cost. However, he was criticized by the US president Barack Obama. Mr. Netanyahu’s critics are likely to think that Israeli PM attempted to change Washington’s foreign policy efforts in terms of Iran’s deal. There is no clear picture of the situation as a number of countries, except of the US, are involved in the negotiations. According to White House National Security Adviser Susan Rice, Netanyahu’s demands are unachievable. In fact, Netanyahu spoke of exacting tougher conditions on Iran to reach a better deal. Long speech has just hidden a real situation that the country is interested in starting a war with Iran. Shall we take it into account? Iran has no intention of destroying Israel and has actually saved the Jews three times in history, but the current Israeli regime is a threat to Tehran, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has said in an interview with American media. Netanyahu’s address to US Congress absolutely ignored the tragic tale of another country that once featured high on his hit list and for similar reasons. As Israel has nuclear weapons, it also means that Iran doesn’t want to be involved in war.
