Daesh has become one of the fatal terrorist groups with a lot of resources and modern weapons. There is no doubt that Daesh has been formed and funded by Mossad and Raw after confession by several CIA operatives. But it seems that now CIA and Mossad have lost control of this wild elephant. Daesh has wreaked havoc not only in Syria but Iraq also. However Iraq security forces are bravely fighting the monstier.Iraqi security forces and the pro-Baghdad militias have a moment to seize. If reports are to be believed, they are engaged in one of the fiercest battles since the rise of Daesh in and around Tikrit. The twist is that this time around Iranian commanders are coordinating with the local militias, and the Coalition has taken a backseat — at least in this Tikrit offensive. It is little known whether they are on the same page in terms of intelligence input or not. Though not difficult to understand the rationale behind such a solo venture, it goes without saying that Baghdad has to walk the fine line of bipartisan, as it supervises the life and death battle from the south up to north.
The fact that Daesh is well-entrenched in Tikrit, as well as in the northern pastures towards Mosul, makes it a do or die contest. At the same time, the growing influence of Tehran in the internal politics of Iraq will be a point of contention, especially for the Sunni tribes in the heartland of the insurgency-hit areas. While under onslaught, the Daesh will try to distract the offensive by opting for abductions of high-value targets, such as Westerners and personal form the security forces, as is their modus operandi since the fall of Kobani. This is where Iraqi as well Western forces intelligence input will be tested. Reports that minority members and local militiamen are being held hostage is a point of concern. Baghdad has to finish off the operation in a swift manner and by inciting popular uprising against the Daesh in areas under their control. In other words, the ideological aspect is up for test and this is where communities irrespective of their sectarian inclination should support the national cause — and help defeat the dreaded criminals. A well-coordinated strategy can only make the difference. Now it is time to contain Daesh by joint efforts among the different factions of Iraq. Furthermore Iraq should seek help from Iran to defeat Daesh that has been constantly funded by MOSSAD and CIA.
