Wide coverage of Javad Zarif’s visit by Pakistani media hailed by Tehran

Iranian official news agency (IRNA) Zarif hailed the wide coverage by Pakistan’s media of two-day official visit of Iran’s Foreign Minister Javad Zarif to the Pakistani capital city Islamabad where he held separate talks with Prime Minister Imran Khan, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser and Finance Minister Asad Umar.

He also held a meeting with Pakistan Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa at army headquarters. 

The Iranian minister was the first top foreign diplomat to visit Pakistan after the new government came into power earlier this month.

In addition to official PTV, Radio Pakistan and Associated Press of Pakistan, All Pakistan urdu news papers including Jang, Nawa-e-waqt, Express, Dunya, Abtak, Pakistan, Khabrain and others have also given special coverage to the visit of Iranian Foreign Minister and so did the leading english dailies such as Dawn, The News, Express Tribune, The Nation, Daily Times.
