West has its own favorites and enemies. Eventhough its double standards are obvious yet it continues its hypocrisy with sheer impunity. Especially when it comes to state terrorism, West is quite naked. According to an independent research and media organisation called, the Centre for Research on Globalization, Saudi Arabia has allegedly been financing extremist militant groups in Pakistan. In 2010, a Wikileaks cable released a statement Hillary Clinton made about Saudi Arabia’s role as the world’s largest source of funds for extremist militant groups, such as the Afghan Taliban and the Lashkar-e-Taiba. There is reportedly no evidence that the Saudi government is financially supporting the Islamic State. Saudi citizens, however, have been accused of sending private donations to the militant organization, thus accusing Iran of funding terrorist groups, while voicing concerns about offending Saudi Arabia is actually laughable. Thus it has exposed the double standards of the West. US and Western world is constantly slapping Iran with inhuman sanctions while they have blinded their eyes towards Saudi Arabia.
