Zulfiqar Mirza is a famous for his controversies and big mouthing. He has become a controversial figure in Sindh politics after he accused MQM of all the crimes in Karachi. By putting Holy Quran on his head he revealed that MQM is involved in all sorts of Crime in Karachi. After MQM saga, he came out against his old buddy ex-president Asif Ali Zardari. He is never one to shy away from controversy even while he was in office. He has for some time not been on the best of terms with the party, especially its top leadership. Things came to a head on Sunday when cases under the Anti-Terrorism Act were registered against the former minister and a number of his supporters after Dr Mirza raided a police station in Badin following the arrest of an aide.
Apart from his blunder he also accused ex-president of massive corruption. He claims that he is exposing the corruption of Zardari and for that he is being targeted, conveniently ignoring the fact that he stood by for years watching this supposed corruption happen under his watch. Even if we buy his reformed sinner facade, to this point he has not backed up his statements with an ounce of proof. It seems that Zulfiqar Mirza is losing his mind as he has failed to substantiate his accusation number of times.
