West has been trying its level best to oust Bashar Al Assad. Just to dethrone Asad West has pitched Syrian rebels against Syrian Army killing more than hundred thousand people. Thos who question that what is the U.S. hoping to gain by ousting Bashar al-Assad and aiding, perhaps arming, the rebels and possible terrorists that fought against, wounded and killed U.S. military in Iraq and Afghanistan? The answer is simple US wants to promote its hegemony. Gain access to Syrian resources, gain a market for its goods, win protection for “greater Israel”, and increase its salve labor force through mass displacement, criminalization, and racism. The benefits are endless!
West left no stone unturned to oust Assad, even Assad regime was accused of using chemical weapons which on investigation proved otherwise. Before making such attempts West forgot that Syrian people are with Assad. Assad has used the regions resources to benefit his people. Providing medical aid, food security, and housing for the poor. His regime was far from perfect, but it was taking steps in a good direction. A direction towards sovereignty. Also, Syria locks in Israeli interests to take over that region. So there are plenty of reasons why Assad has enemies.
After failure to oust Assad, West has adopted a new approach. “ Four French lawmakers met Syrian President Bashar al-Assad on Wednesday during a private trip to the war-torn country, despite a breakdown in diplomatic ties between Paris and Damascus” AFP reported today.
The same France was leading enemy of Bashar Al Assad and instigated its allies to oust Assad but failed. Now the France has adopted another strategy that is to appease Assad because they have realized that they cannot dethrone Assad by force. France’s move shows that West is reconsidering its approach regarding Syria. It is time for Bashar Al Assad to take its allies Russia and Iran before making any agreement or deal with West.
