Where Pakistan is in state of shock and grief over the dismal performance of Pakistan team in the world cup, lawyers Rizwan Gul has filed a petition against Pakistani team’s poor performance in the world cup. “The petition filed by Advocate Rizwan Gul has questioned the team’s dismal performance in the World Cup 2015 and has asked the court to investigate the possible causes behind the collapse. LHC judge, Justice Ijazul Hassan will hear the case on February 24” writes Dawn.
Though one cannot vindicate the humiliated defeat of Pakistan cricket team but filing a petition seems quite hilarious. No one asks to spare the responsible behind poor performance of the team but it is not the suitable way to punish the culprits. The better way the Rizwan Gul can do is to file a petition against politicians and role of politics in cricket. Because political interference in Pakistan cricket board is the sole reason behind poor performance of the team.
