A Major of Pakistan Army and five terrorists were killed in a clash in Dattakhel area of North Waziristan. Pakistan has sacrificed number of its military officers and personnel in war against terror but operation Zarb-e-Azb has inflicted heavy losses on terrorists and their networks and most of the areas previously infested by them have been cleared by our valiant troops. However, as it is a do or die battle, both the troops and the militants are fiercely engaged and terrorists are trying their hard to regain their lost grounds. No doubt, the country has suffered immensely both in terms of human and material costs during this war but the nature of the threat clearly shows that even the survival of the state was at stake and therefore, militancy will have to be crushed with full force and once for all. The Army is doing its job but regrettably the civil administration is not fulfilling its obligations in way that it should. Political leadership even did not progress from political statements. There are just verbal vows, promises and commitments, practically nothing.
