Since long Shiite community in Pakistan is under siege. Several terrorist groups have unleashed havoc on Shiite community by bombing Imambarghas, processions and religious gatherings. Since the support to Zarb.e.Azb Shiite community has been specifically targeted. Yesterday’s attack on Imambargah in Kurri Road Rawalpindi was third deadliest attack on Shiite community’s religious place in row. Earlier in two blasts more than 85 people lost their lives. Attacking Shiite community is not something new but the specific target after Shiite communities undeterred support to Pakistan army against terrorists is a disastrous plan. By frequently targeting Shiite community, terrorist elements want to fan sectarian clashes in the country, thus diverting attention of Pakistan army and state to internal security. But one should hail Shiite leadership that despite deadliest attacks, they did not renege their support against terrorist nor did they make any attempt to create unrest in the country. One should salute to the courage and sagacity of Shiite leadership which is wisely foiling nefarious designs of Takfiri terrorist elements.
