Two month after terrorist attack on Army Public school, Pakistan made several key decision including lifting the death moratorium, despite pressure by several human right groups and EU, Pakistan refused to keep the lid of this decision. But unfortunately no terrorist from TTP has been hanged so far. The entire six terrorist who are executed were arrested either during Musrraf era or after that. Some of them were accused of Attacking Musharraf while others were arrested in connection to attack GHQ. The government seemed to signal that those who “deserved” to be killed first were people who had targeted the army. No terrorist arrested after APS attack has been hanged so far. Pakistan government’s working on snail’s pace could cost it further innocent lives. Government should try not to hinder military courts and should help army to made these courts functional as soon as possible. Furthermore Govt should increase its speed to enact NAP, which despite several assurances is still lingering.
