SHAFAQNA PAKISTAN (Shia News Agency)
Since the APS attack, Afghanistan and Pakistan have joined hands against terrorist elements on the soil of both the countries. COAS and ISI chief visited a month back to Kabul and discussed several security issues with Afghan president Ashraf Ghani and both the sides agreed to take an indiscriminate action against terrorists. During previous visit Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Shareef demanded of Afghan side to target TTP Chief, Mullah Fazlullah the main culprit behind APS terrorist attack but so far Afghan government has failed to nab Fazlullah. Chief of Army Staff and ISI chief are once again in Kabul to further bridge the differences and remove the flaws in war against terrorists. According to dawn,” The Army chief has arrived in Kabul with a high-level military delegation which includes DG ISI”. It seems that both the counties may evolve a conceived strategy against the terrorists. “The senior military leadership of both countries would also discuss ongoing cooperation in counter-terrorism, particularly action taken against Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) hideouts on Afghan territory”, writes Dawn news. It is expected that this visit will help both the countries to expedite their efforts in war on terror.
