Role of Madrassas has been under sheer discussion in spreading radicalization. Apart from this the curriculums that has been taught in Madrassas is also under consideration. Infact several political and international factors provided a conducive environment to Madrassas first to spread and then play their role in militancy. It was in this context that a politically pacifist and religiously conservative madrassa curriculum was pressed into the service of radical political goals. In other words, militancy did not emerge from within the madrassa tradition; it was brought into madrassas by extraneous forces, especially the Afghan Jihad of the 1980s. The most dangerous thing was that not only militancy was injected into madrassa tradition but in the form of such Curriculum ( Dars.e.Nizami) a constant source of extremism was injected in Madrassas that did not change with the course of time and finally brought havoc to Pakistan. Now it is need of the hour to revamp the Madrassa culture and completely change the Curriculum that promote endurance, Patience and respect for opposite school of thoughts.
