There is a world cup fever across the globe including Pakistan. Entire nation seems glued to TV screens, mostly wearing green shirts and enjoying every bit of game but at the same time the country is burning in the fire of sectarianism and terrorism. It is similar that when the “Rome was burning Nero was fiddling”. We should not forget the 9/11 of 16th December in Peshawar, We should not let the Shikarpur incident fade away, we should overshadow the 21 martyrs of Peshawar Imambargah. We should not forget that bereaved family’s grief and sorrow. Our real world cup is winning against terrorist not winning a trophy. We can hundreds of such trophies, if we will succeed in saving our upcoming generations.
