Lt. General (R) Shuja Pasha likely to be made new governor Sindh

Shafaqna Pakistan: It is being reported that the Lt. General (R) Shuja Ahmad Pasha is being tipped to become the new Governor Sindh in order to make the Federal Government’s writ more effective in the province.

According to Baaghi TV, General Pasha who served as the Director-General of the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) from 2008 to 2012 is being nominated as the Governor Sindh.

Talk of General Pasha being nominated as the new Governor Sindh had been in circulation but now his nomination seems to be in the final stages and an announcement is expected anytime soon in this regard.

The past few weeks have seen a growing divide between the Federal Government and the Sindh Government which has been badly hampering not only the fight against the coronavirus pandemic but also the unabated locust attacks which are wreaking havoc throughout the province.

According to sources, the powerful and assertive high profile former general’s appointment as the new Governor is expected to turn the PPP dominated political landscape of Sindh completely upside down.
