Malaysia and Indonesia pledge continued support for Al-Quds holy sites

Shafaqna Pakistan:- Malaysia and Indonesia have reaffirmed their support for Palestine and the protection of Muslim and Christian holy sites in Al-Quds.

The two countries expressed their positions during the Ministerial Meeting in Support of Al-Quds and Its Holy Sites, held earlier this week in Amman, Jordan.

Malaysia reiterated that Al-Quds remains an integral part of the Occupied Palestinian Territory and rejected any efforts to alter its legal, historical, demographic or religious character. According to a Foreign Ministry statement, Kuala Lumpur also condemned violations at Al-Aqsa Mosque and the continued expansion of illegal Israeli settlements.

Malaysia further reaffirmed its support for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with East Al-Quds as its capital.

Indonesia urged the international community to take a united stance against Israel’s actions in the Palestinian territories, including East al-Quds and Al-Aqsa Mosque, according to state-run Antara news agency.
