Shafaqna Pakistan: Security forces carried out intelligence-based operations in Lakki Marwat, during which multiple terrorists were killed, according to security sources.
The sources said several militant hideouts were destroyed during the operations. A large cache of weapons, ammunition and other equipment was also recovered from the militants killed in the action.
According to the sources, several members of “Fitna al-Khawarij” were also injured during the operations.
They added that the operations were conducted with measures in place to safeguard civilians and ensure that the local population remained unharmed.
Security forces continue their operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as part of efforts to maintain lasting peace and eliminate militancy from the region, the sources added.
