Shafaqna Pakistan: Gold prices in Pakistan surged for a second consecutive day on Friday, mirroring gains in international markets, according to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association.
The association said the price of gold increased by Rs12,200 per tola, taking it to Rs440,936.
The price of 10 grams of gold also rose by Rs10,459 to Rs378,031.
In the international market, gold gained $122 to reach $4,185 per ounce, the association said.
The latest increase follows Thursday’s rise of Rs9,100 per tola, bringing the cumulative gain over the past two days to Rs21,300 per tola.
