Shafaqna Pakistan:– Southern India was battered by relentless heavy rainfall and flash floods over the weekend, causing widespread destruction across several states, with Kerala emerging as the worst-affected region.
According to official reports, at least 11 people were killed in Kerala, where rising floodwaters displaced thousands of residents, forcing many families to move to temporary relief camps and safer locations.
In neighbouring Karnataka, persistent rainfall triggered a landslide that claimed at least three lives. Rescue teams have been working around the clock to search for survivors and deliver assistance to affected communities.
