Shafaqna Pakistan: Pakistan’s digital transformation efforts have reached another milestone, with more than 232,000 people completing online Hajj registration within just two weeks, according to the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
The ministry said registration for Hajj from 2027 to 2030 remains open through the Pak Hajj mobile application and the online portal.
In the first 14 days, over 232,000 intending pilgrims completed the registration process from home within minutes using the digital platforms.
Officials said the Pak Hajj app and online portal, developed by the National IT Board, have streamlined and expedited the registration process, making it more accessible and efficient.
Official figures show that more than 175,000 applicants registered under the government Hajj scheme, while over 58,000 enrolled through the private Hajj scheme.
Provincial figures showed that more than 108,000 applicants registered from Punjab, 71,000 from Sindh, and 33,000 from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Among the registered pilgrims, 136,000 are men and 96,000 are women.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs said online registration for Hajj 2027–2030 will continue uninterrupted until further instructions are issued.
It advised intending pilgrims to complete their registration as early as possible to avoid any potential rush.
