Shafaqna Pakistan:- A total of 4,887,660 foreign pilgrims had entered Iraq by Sunday night since the beginning of Muharram to participate in the Arbaeen pilgrimage, as arrivals continued ahead of the annual religious commemoration, Iraqi authorities said.
The Arbaeen Command Centre said on Monday that comprehensive security and logistical arrangements remain in place under the direct supervision of Prime Minister Ali Al-Zaidi.
The centre added that government institutions are continuing to coordinate operations at border crossings and along major pilgrimage routes to ensure the smooth movement, safety and welfare of millions of pilgrims arriving from abroad.
