Trump highlights US weapons stockpile, warns leakers could face jail

Shafaqna Pakistan: US President Donald Trump on Thursday rejected reports claiming the United States was facing shortages of key munitions, insisting the country has substantial stockpiles and warning that those responsible for leaking such information would face legal action.

In a post on his Truth Social platform, Trump said the United States possesses “massive amounts” of munitions, particularly certain categories of weapons, and added that additional supplies are being produced and delivered as needed.

He also said defence companies are constructing what he described as the largest number of plants and factories in the country’s history.

Trump further warned that those behind what he called “treasonous” leaks were being identified, adding that authorities would seek lengthy prison sentences against those found responsible.
